Let me tell you a little about my story

When I was in middle school, high school and the first few years of college, I was SO unhappy with my body and my weight.

didn’t want to just “accept my body” because I knew I would be more confident and comfortable a few pounds lighter.

Hey, vanity is allowed!

I would look at my friends and be so jealous. Why couldn’t I just look like that? They were eating chocolate and pizza and takeout. It was just… unfair!!

But I couldn’t find a way to lose those pounds without starving myself – or without canceling plans with friends in order to stick with “my plan”.

I tried a number of diets – but, as I’m sure you can imagine, they lasted about a few hours, or a few days at most. They just were. not. sustainable.

It got so bad that I actually had to take time off from college to focus on my relationship with food, and focus on self-care.

During this time at home, I knew something drastic needed to change! I knew I needed more nutrition knowledge about what exactly would help me get to, and stay at, the weight I wanted.

I started taking some nutrition classes at a community college, and when I went back to my university, I actually switched my major from math to nutrition.

I’d like to tell you it was smooth sailing after that… but I was a work in progress for another few years!

It took getting my PhD in behavior change, and coaching hundreds and hundreds of women, and seeing what actually worked in the real world…

To come up with a customizable system that kept me, and my clients, at our ideal weights, for the LONG term!

And, most importantly, I finally was able to figure out what I really wanted – true happiness, and a mind free of food thoughts. 

There is so much more to life than constantly thinking about food, SO MUCH more!

Hey, it’s me, Rachel! 🙋🏻‍♀️ In college, I was so confused with what to eat- What foods contributed to the Freshman 15? Were calories from drinks the same as calories from food? What diet should I follow to get the results I wanted?

By studying nutrition in school (bachelor’s, master’s and PhD – phew!) and coaching hundreds of women, I’ve been able to develop my signature program that works for the long term. My nutrition mantra is intuitive and practical – listen to your body, eat the foods you love, and incorporate health along the way. I’ve found that knowing yourself, especially when it comes to food and nutrition, is the best way to live your happiest life.

What format is this program in?

Videos, e-books, and a Facebook support and accountability group. There are also a number of worksheets (PDF, and excel) to complete along the way.

When does the program start and finish?

It is completely self-paced – you decide when you start and when you finish.

Who is this program for?

This program is for those over 18 years of age, and for those who are in good health without any chronic diseases (such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer, or food allergies), or those who are breastfeeding. This program also will not work if you follow a vegan diet – but vegetarian is absolutely fine! As always, please seek approval from your primary care physician before starting any nutrition program. This program is also NOT for: high school students, professional athletes, those who have an eating disorder or are in recent recovery, and those who want to become underweight or get to an unhealthy (too-low) weight.

Do I need to be able to cook for myself?

It is absolutely easier to manage your weight when you have more control over what you’re eating. It’s not necessary, but much easier if you’re able to prepare your own food.

Do I have to track calories?

I do generally recommend tracking, but tracking is NOT forever! It’s a very useful tool to help see, objectively, which foods keep you fullest for longest. It’s also a useful tool for accountability, especially since we won’t be working together one-on-one!

Do I have to exercise?

Generally, no! Sometimes when we get to weight loss plateaus, exercise can be helpful.

Do I have to buy expensive food, protein shakes, or supplements?

Generally, no! It is a national recommendation that if you’re consuming less than 1600 calories consistently that you take a multivitamin.

Do the meals and snacks take a long time to prepare?

NO! Less than 5 minutes for many, and less than 15 minutes for nearly the rest. A select few are 30 minutes, but you can opt out of those if you like!

I feel like I already spend $ on food, why should I pay for this?

1. Accountability; 2. Ease of preparing awesome, filling meals; 3. You will spend much LESS money on food now that you can prepare foods that keep you full & minimize food waste!

Am I going to have to spend hours in the kitchen?

NO! Guys. I’m seriously the laziest cook ever 

Are the recipes for 1 person?

Meal plans are for 1 person – but you can also double (or triple or quadruple!) meals and ingredients yourself within the meal planning function of the program.

What if I’m in my 40s, 50s, or 60s? Will this program work for me?

Yes! The meals are for 1 person, and I do want you to track what you’re eating with an app and log onto this online program on a computer or your phone – so if you’re comfortable with that, please join!

Do I get one-on-one contact with you, Rachel?

There are weekly Live Q&As in the Facebook group – you enter your questions anonymously in a form before the lives. We also do daily checkins within the Facebook group so you are held accountable! In addition, you can sign up for 1:1 virtual (Zoom) sessions with me for $200 at any time.
